Cambridge A Levels

Overview

At IMAS International School, we are proud to have a team of highly qualified A Level subject specialists, a strong and supportive pastoral care team, and experienced higher education counsellors who guide our students every step of the way. Our commitment to academic excellence is matched by a personalised approach to student development, ensuring that each learner is fully prepared—both academically and emotionally—for their journey beyond IMAS.

Why Choose A Levels @ IMAS

At IMAS International School, our A Level programme offers students a globally recognised ‘gold standard’ qualification that prepares them for top universities and future careers. With a strong academic foundation and a personalised support system, students at IMAS develop the knowledge, understanding, and essential skills needed for lifelong success. Our A Level students engage with in-depth subject content, learn to work independently, and are guided to apply their knowledge in both familiar and unfamiliar contexts. They gain experience in evaluating diverse sources of information, thinking critically, and presenting logical, well-structured arguments. Studying entirely in English, they also build strong academic communication skills, giving them the confidence to thrive in a competitive global environment. At IMAS, we are committed to helping every A Level student reach their full potential—academically, personally, and beyond.

Students receive tailored academic counselling based on their aptitude, attitude, and performance in each subject. Recommendations and support plans are provided to ensure they remain on the right academic path.

Coursework & Examinations

Internal assessments and examinations are structured to prepare students effectively for their final A Level exams, while also equipping them with the discipline and skills needed for university-level study.

Extracurricular Activities

Participation in extracurricular activities is strongly encouraged to support holistic development. These experiences not only foster leadership and collaboration but also contribute positively to student references and testimonials.

Mentor-Mentee System

Each A Level student is assigned a personal academic mentor who offers consistent guidance, support, and pastoral care throughout their academic journey.

Parent’s Day

Parent-Teacher meetings are held to give parents and guardians the opportunity to engage directly with teachers and discuss their child’s academic and personal progress.

Progress Reports

Regular progress reports are issued to keep parents informed of their child’s achievements, areas for improvement, and overall academic standing.

Student Attendance & Punctuality

Students are expected to maintain a minimum of 80% attendance. Failure to do so may result in being disqualified from registering for the final A Level examinations.

Teaching Faculty
